2025

Eighteen years ago, we launched Kula for Karma, a national nonprofit organization, offering therapeutic yoga and mindfulness to populations struggling with mental health, trauma, and addiction.

but it really started long before that...

In 2020, COVID 19 turned the world upside down, and our work felt more meaningful and relevant than ever. In response to the pandemic related closures at most nationwide mental health, trauma and addiction facilities we served, we pivoted and turned obstacles into opportunities, stumbling blocks into steppingstones, and challenges into change. We took action! We designed virtual programming, wherever possible providing uninterrupted service.

This is how  be.still, came to be.  We mindfully migrated into the corporate space offering the  be.still fifteen minute ‘brain breaks’ and ‘wellbeing webinars’, facilitated by skilled professionals. We continue to be dedicated to changing the face of healthcare and incorporating a whole person approach to patient wellness.

For the first time in history, Corporate America was forced to address the employee mental health crisis and prioritize wellbeing. As ‘disruptors’ in the healthcare arena, we are considered experts, addressing isolation, depression, suicide ideation, anxiety, stress, burnout and substance abuse.

Our latest manifestation, What Now, continues our partnership and dedication to spend more time in the magic than in the fear, more time in the moments of awe than in the moments of anxiety, and more time embracing the journey than worrying about the destination.
